Friends of the Falls is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to PROMOTE the unique and scenic resources of Noccalula Falls Park and community, to DEVELOP partnerships for the enhancement of services and programs that foster education and conservation, & ENGAGE volunteers who will serve as ambassadors for our park community.
Friends of the Falls, formed in 2019, is a partner with Noccalula Falls Park a City of Gadsden owned park. Friends of the Falls is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit. Your donations are tax deductible.

THE WATERFALL
The falls are a 90 foot drop into the Black Creek gorge. It is naturally fed by Black Creek alone. Being a natural waterfall it is dependent on rainfall to feed the cascade. When we see a high volume of rain we can see it flood (often in the Winter and Spring.) When we see little rainfall in the late Summer and Fall we may only have a trickle of water. Regardless of the amount of water it is always a site to see!
One of the special attractions to Noccalula Falls is that by accessing the Gorge Trail you can pass under the Falls. In addition the bridge leading over Black Creek above the Falls allows a 360-degree view of this grand natural waterfall.
MINI GOLF

Our Mini Golf Course, located adjacent to beautiful Noccalula Falls Park.
The course features a beautifully landscaped layout that takes you past cascading waterfalls, over and around streams, and around the rock formations found at Noccalula Falls.
The course was designed to be fun for all ages as well as present a challenge that will even make the most avid golfer come back for more. The course is lit for those that would like an evening out with friends and family.

Park admission covers pioneer village, animal habitat, botanical garden, train ride, and access to hike under the falls.

RENTAL FACILITIES
Kiwanis Building
Accommodates up to 200 people in a modern but rustic open design, appropriate for all types of gatherings and meetings. Minimum four-hour rental for $400. For additional information please call the park office 256-549-4663 ext #3.
PowWow Room
Accommodates up to 60 people. Minimum two-hour rental for $40 an hour. Comes with a small kitchen area and one bathroom. For additional information please call the park office 256-549-4663 ext #3.
Princess Room
Accommodates up to 40 people. Minimum two-hour rental for $35 an hour. Comes with a small kitchen area, but no bathroom. For additional information please call the park office 256-549-4663 ext #3.
Botanical Garden
Can accommodate up to 100 people. Daily rental rate is $500. Wedding chair rental $6 per chair. For additional information please call 256-549-4663 ext #3.
Outdoor Pavilion
Accommodates up to 75-100 people. Minimum two-hour rental for $30 an hour. Comes with power outlets and lighting. For additional information please call the park office 256-549-4663 ext #3.
Playground Pavilion
