I Hear That Train A Coming!!

Hello my friends, Jim B. here with great news about the trains. We are in the final stages of getting our trains back up and running. In fact, we have so much work going on at this moment we have decided to close Noccalula Falls Park beginning Monday, September 22nd, 2022 so that work can continue in the safest way possible.

Over the past week or so, the park has been difficult to navigate due to various teams working around the park. There are crews grading and flattening the track base so that rails can be added, there is a team adding rails to the track bed, a team performing electrical work for the new electric trains, a crew hanging Christmas lights, and a crew installing updates power throughout the park.

It’s a lot to keep track of!!

The good news is we hope to open back up if at all possible before out Trick or Treat Village on October 8th, 2022.

Here’s a few things that have to happen before we can begin running the trains.

1. Finish the tracks
2. Take delivery of the trains (2)
3. Test trains and tracks
4. Train all the train drivers
5. Finish all secondary construction that could impede the train from running
6. Open back up!!
